Ralph Lauren Corporate Foundation donated funds to COVID19 Relief, allocating it to certain entities, such as the Emergency Assistance Foundation, World Health Organization COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund and a USD1 million pledge to CFDA/ Vogue’s new initiative, A Common Thread. An extensive social responsibility from the Fashion industry is to also take vital action in supporting communities, particularly the employees affected by this global crisis.
“We are all connected,” Lauren said. The Fashion industry continues to take an indispensable effort in aiding teams and communities in the midst of this pandemic.
Most of Ralph Lauren’s stores globally were forced to close but still continues to manufacture 25,000 isolation gowns and 250,000 masks in partnership with other brands to help in the world’s current situation, providing PPEs for the community’s front liners.
